This course involves active exploration on self, self with others, and the self in groups. It explores the art of persuasion (tactics we use to influence others and get what we want and what to do when we don't get want we want). Attention will focus on relationship dynamics and sets of circumstances or scenes. Course material involves reading and applying evidence from psychology research, reading and analyzing scripts from plays and films, and writing scenarios that apply understanding from these sources to our everyday social interactions and professional communications.
