Catalog description

This learning community explores the U.S. women's history from the revolution to the present with an emphasis on the nineteenth and twentieth centuries, using various genres of literature. The research component will allow students to focus on a literary work of their choice, and will lead them through the steps in researching and writing a paper. Fulfills 7 credits toward Women's and Gender Studies Major/Minor. Old Core: Fulfills Exploratory/Western History. New Core: Fulfills ENG 120 and 3 credits in Area of Knowledge II.
