A Literary Voyage Through France and Spain

Catalog description

This course will examine select avant-garde writers of France and Spain and the literary connections between the two countries in the early 20th century. We will travel to select cities in France, including Paris and Barcelona, and Spain during Spring Break. While in Europe, we will visit museums and other cultural sites which shaped French and Spanish writers, emphasizing the art, theatre, history and culture of both countries. Course conducted in English.
