Catalog description

Applies economic theory and analysis to the contemporary problems facing public utilities. Subject covered include the analysis of demand, production theory, and cost functions. Covers analysis of pricing, rate base regulation, market externalities, cogeneration, and the macroeconomic and political underpinnings of national energy policy. Requirement/Restriction: This course is only available to Con Edison/NYPA Indian Point employees.
