Catalog description
This course provides an introduction to mainstream theories of choice and decision making, alongside a survey of basic microeconometric techniques. Topics include consumer theories of utility maximization; producer theories of profit maximization and cost minimization; choice under uncertainty; game theory; and market failures. Throughout the course special attention will be paid to some empirical results in related literature.
