1 section
Catalog description
Econometrics is the contribution of statistics, mathematics, and economic theory in processing, formulating, and estimating models of economic behavior. Attempting to discover economic laws and solve problems of human action by the use of statistical data, econometricians maintain that science is measurement and permits them to use precise mathematical measurement for testing and developing economic theory. This course involves extensive use of the computer; students are encouraged to design research projects that analyze data from an econometric perspective. Credit Badge: Data Science.
