The description should be as follows : This course is an introduction to U.S. public policy. Students will gain an understanding of the fiscal policy that deals with tax and spending programs, their effect on the U.S. economy, and their impact on the U.S.'s debt to its GDP ratio. Students will understand more fully how changes in these tax and spending programs affect consumers, businesses, markets, and the U.S. economy, both at the macro and micro level. The courses delivery is focused on active learning, which includes textbook readings, research of official government publications, exploration of public policy experts' publications, as well as discussions and data analysis.
