Catalog description

Testing is a critical phase of the Software Development Life Cycle and software testing is a skill that is very much demand in the IT Industry. Students will learn about formal software testing and its requirements. They will become familiar with requirements analysis and formal test design techniques. Students will also develop hands-on skills needed by software testers. They will collaborate in teams to analyze and test an accounting cloud-based application. Additionally, they will plan testing, produce test designs and test cases, execute testing, and report software defects. Students will also develop experience with using a test management platform to manage their test assets. The teams will present their completed projects to the class.
