=This course focuses on the grammar and vocabulary necessary for students who have a serious or professional interest in Spanish. This course involves some reading and writing, and emphasizes speaking and listening. Students will also gain extensive knowledge about the various cultures of the Spanish-speaking world. This course is not intended for native speakers of Spanish, or for those students who demonstrate proficiency in Spanish.
