Catalog description

=An examination of the development of moral and legal norms surrounding the decision to go to war as well as conduct of war. Special attention is given to the origin of just war tradition in Christian thought and the codification of these norms in the 20th century international law and war-time conventions. Prerequisite: PLS 1033 International Relations.
