Catalog description

=Provides a detailed examination of selected events, themes, and issues relevant to the European colonization of North America. Possible topics include, but are not limited to, the European movement for exploration and colonization, the adoption of forced labor systems, relations between colonists and Native Americans, the comparison of different colonial regions and regimes, and movements for colonial independence. This course may be repeated for credit provided it covers a different topic.
