Catalog description
=This course focuses on college-level academic writing and research. Students practice independent research skills as they write formal paragraphs and essays that effectively analyze and synthesize source materials. Students also revise their writing in response to feedback. Careful documentation of source materials is expected of all students, with MLA style emphasized in class. Formal, edited English is expected of all students. Students must earn a course grade of C- or higher to meet the writing intensive course requirement.
