First Responder Public Safety Academy

Catalog description

This introductory academy course is a noncredit course designed to introduce students to careers in Public Safety. Students will learn entry level skills related to First Responder actions as performed upon initial arrival to given incidents. Specifically, this 30-hour course will focus on career exploration for Emergency Medical Technician, Incident Command, Wildland, and Structural Firefighting.
