Directed Practice I

Catalog description

Provides introductory experiences in the clinical setting under the direct supervision of a Surgical Technologist or other appropriate assigned personnel by the hospital coordinator. The focus is on level 1 cases in the areas of general, gynecology, genitourinary, orthopedics and ENT. The student has the opportunity to apply theory learned in the laboratory and lecture setting. A weekly reflection is required as well as visitation by faculty.
