Catalog description

Introduces the student to critical thinking, ethics, study skills, diversity, team work, time management, campus resources for students, financial aid, and the basic concepts of adult learning as it applies to college and the workforce. The course will also introduce the student to the different fields within electrical engineering technology and explores the mathematics needed in each specialty. Weekly hands-on labs, including virtual tours and face to face tours accompany the course to reinforce the concepts that are taught.
