Catalog description

This course will cover the lean manufacturing principles & practices used in the Toyota Production Systems (TPS) for maintenance. Students will gain an understanding of value added product, value added work and how they combine to create company profit. Problem solving, standardized work, Kaizen, Pokayoke and Takt time are all explained and how they create the Toyota Production System (TPS) for Maintenance.
