Surgical Technology DP III

Catalog description

In this course students will continue working in the surgical environment under the direction of a surgical technologist or registered nurse (RN). The student will observe, scrub, and assist on more complex surgical cases as directed by the surgical team. The progression from student to entry level surgical technologist is the goal for the completion of this course along with the successful completion of the 120 scrubbed case requirement. Students will also attend a weekly reflection period.
