Covers the nature, patterns and functions of beliefs and value systems and their institutional arrangements in modern society, particularly in contemporary United States. Special emphasis is given to the interrelationship of these systems to the larger social structure, the effects of the social structure on them and how they advance or inhibit community change. (Social and Behavioral Science elective) Co-requisite: NONE
