Catalog description

This course teaches the first semester for the 'Third Year Iron Worker Apprenticeship Training Program'. This course will cover but not limit itself to teaching all facets of metal buildings, including erection, unloading, storage, insulation sheets, trim, tools, safety, layout, equipment, blueprints, placement, ladders, scaffolds, man lifts, gutters, downspouts and bracing. Also discussed is basic GMAW theory and practical applications and a semester project.
