Catalog description

This course teaches the second semester of the 'Second Year Operating Engineer Apprenticeship Training Program'. This course will cover but not limit itself to providing the student with basic practical knowledge of heavy equipment operation. The student will become familiar with some of the equipment used in the Operating engineers trade. Basic training on operation, safety, controls, inspection and maintenance of backhoes, bulldozers, grader and loader are covered.
