Catalog description

This course teaches the second semester for the 'Second Year Iron Worker Apprenticeship Training Program'. This course will cover but not limit itself to advanced iron worker trade calculations using practical construction emphasis involving plane geometry, angle measurement, area and perimeter of polygons, triangles, hexagons, and circles along with solid figures, geometric construction and triangle trigonometry, welding fabrication is covered with an emphasis on vertical up, vertical down and overhead techniques in structural steel projects, metallurgy of ferrous metals and a semester project.
