Catalog description

This course teaches the first semester of the 'Second Year Plasterers Apprenticeship Training Program'. This course will introduce the apprentice to but not limit itself to intermediate plasterer trade calculations using practical construction emphasis with positive and negative numbers, grouping symbols, addition, subtraction, multiplication and division of monomials and polynomials, factoring, exponents and radicals, graphing and quadratic equations, an introduction to fundamental blueprint reading, sketching, and drafting which includes exercises in interpreting lines and view positions found on prints, the use of drawing tools and a semester project
