Catalog description

This course teaches the first semester of the 'Second Year Painter Apprenticeship Training Program'. This course will introduce the apprentice to but not limit itself to intermediate insulator trade calculations using practical construction emphasis with positive and negative numbers, grouping symbols, addition, subtraction, multiplication and division of monomials and polynomials, factoring, exponents and radicals, graphing and quadratic equations. This course will also cover what is shown in a construction print and know how to apply this knowledge on the job site and a semester project.
