Catalog description

This course teaches the first semester of the 'Second Year Glazier Apprenticeship Training Program'. This course will introduce the apprentice to but not limit itself to intermediate glazier trade calculations using practical construction emphasis with positive and negative numbers, grouping symbols, addition, subtraction, multiplication and division of monomials and polynomials, factoring, exponents and radicals, graphing and quadratic equations. This course also will give a hands-on approach emphasizing sheet metal fabrication, guards, ventilators and HVACR ductwork and a semester project.
