This course teaches the first semester of the 'First Year Apprenticeship Training Program'. This course will introduce the apprentice to but not limit itself to fundamental operating engineer trade calculations, operating engineer trade safety, drug awareness, tools and equipment, operating engineer trade history and a semester project.
