Catalog description

This course teaches the first semester of the 'First Year Bricklayer Apprenticeship Training Program'. This course will introduce the apprentice to but not limit itself to fundamental bricklayer trade calculations using practical construction emphasis with addition, subtraction, multiplication and division of whole numbers, fractions and decimals. This course will also cover bricklayer trade safety, providing an understanding of the fundamentals of construction safety, specifically, safety in its related field and a semester project. Co-requisite: NONE
