Catalog description

A review of gynecologic/obstetric anatomy and physiology. Studies obstetrical complications and gynecological pathology in identifying abnormalities. Correlation of pertinent history/assessment, laboratory and other information is included. Skills of differential diagnosis are analyzed as they pertain to the obstetrical/ gynecologic patent. Medico/legal ethics involving new techniques for obstetric patients are discussed. Psychomotor skills are developed through clinical education sessions. Co-requisite: RDT 240,BIO 212,BIO 213,BIO 215
