Develops the skills necessary to obtain the needed information from a variety of individuals under different and often stressful situations. Police, fire and emergency medical personnel must have key information in order to prioritize service delivery and the type of response necessary to provide high quality service and care to members of the public. PSAP personnel must be familiar with these needs, make appropriate decisions, prioritize actions and provide quality, polite and professional service to the public.
