Catalog description

Focuses on fluid statics, calorimetry, thermal expansion, heat transfer, waves, physical and geometric optics, and electrical and magnetic fields and forces. Technical applications are emphasized and a weekly laboratory session supplements the lectures. This course should not be taken concurrently with PHY 111. Students retaking this course must repeat both the lab and lecture. Co-requisite: NONE
