Catalog description

Studies vector mechanics, equilibrium, linear and rational kinematics and dynamics, Newton's Laws of Motion, work, energy, power, impulse and momentum. Technical applications are emphasized and a weekly laboratory session supplements the lectures. This course should not be taken concurrently with PHY 112. Students retaking this course must repeat both the lab and lecture.
