Catalog description
This is the culminating integrative experience where students have the opportunity to practice entry-level skills with various populations and age groups in a variety of systems and service models under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist or Occupational Therapy Assistant. Effective practice, advocacy and inquiry skills will be evaluated. Students participate in a weekly seminar as well as return to campus following the 16 week supervised fieldwork for a curriculum review and integrative seminar prior to graduation and sitting for the NBCOT Examination. Note: Students are required a minimum of the equivalent of 16 weeks full-time Level II fieldwork. For this reason it is recommended that students do not participate in outside employment during this time. Co-requisite: NONE
