Provides an introduction to the fundamentals of medical ethics and law pertinent to medical offices, hospitals, and other healthcare facilities that are important for the medical office support employee. The student will gain knowledge of law, medical ethics and bioethics as they impact current healthcare practices in the healthcare office environment. A portfolio project is included.
