Catalog description

The course focuses on the fundamentals of nursing. The concepts of patient centered care, evidenced based practice, teamwork and collaboration, quality improvement, safety and informatics are reviewed. Laboratory experiences are planned to provide opportunities for the student to apply these concepts to situations within a healthcare environment.
