P Nursing Care of the Adult

Catalog description

This course focuses on concepts of patient-centered care, evidence-based practice, communication, collaboration, and management of the adult medical/surgical patient. The student will utilize critical thinking to promote, restore and maintain health of clients with commonly occurring health problems. Clinical laboratory experience is utilized to promote student learning of caring concepts in nursing situations.
