Catalog description
This course focuses on the fundamentals of nursing, development of medical terminology and nursing skills. The concepts of health, client attributes, healthcare settings, professional nursing and the components of the Nursing Process are discussed as it applies to the role of the practical nurse. College laboratory and clinical experiences are planned to provide opportunities for the student to apply these concepts to healthcare situations. Co-Requisites: BIO 211 and FNH 126
