Nursing Trends utilizes the caring philosophy and the patterns of knowing for meeting the needs of clients and families throughout the Life Span and during end of life experiences. Principles of teaching/learning and delegation along with concepts of management/leadership are applied to nursing situations according to the LPN scope of practice. Role transition, career opportunities, licensing, professional self-awareness and growth of the LPN are discussed. Effective employment seeking skills are introduced.
