Catalog description

Gives the student a working knowledge of modern statistical engineering techniques. Topics include: presentation and description of data, principles of probability, discrete and continuous probability distributions, sampling distributions, statistical inference, regression and correlation analysis. The computer used as an analytical tool and as an aid in supporting statistical theories. A graphing calculator is required. Co-requisite: NONE
