Basic Algebra

Catalog description

Equips students with competency in basic algebra before entering their required mathematics courses. This course provides a brief review of arithmetic, followed by study of signed numbers, polynomials, factoring, linear equations, roots and exponents, graphing, fractional equations and applied problems in all topic areas. (Not for graduation credit). (Also offered as a telecourse). Co-requisite: NONE
