Catalog description

This course provides an introduction to the hospital setting, the hospital organizational structure and regulatory environment to the student. This course also introduces the billing process utilized in the hospital setting. A review of the different payment systems that relate to hospital reimbursement is covered. A basic understanding of HIPAA is provided.
