Catalog description

Studies the basic concepts of interfacing electrical controls to fluid elements used in fluid circuits and the microprocessor controllers used to sequence the operating equipment. Sensors, actuators, interface modules and program controllers are covered. Laboratory exercises will provide experience and supplement the student's learning and ability to troubleshoot malfunctioning fluid equipment. Co-requisite: MET 141
