Catalog description

This course introduces students to the programming and operation of robotic systems in the context of welding applications. Also, the curriculum encompasses both theoretical concepts and hands-on practical skills essential for working with welding robots. When completed, the workcell created will contain a FANUC robot with end-of-arm tooling, one or more fixtures for holding a part and a robot TPP Program which moves the part from one fixture to the other. Practical, hands-on experience is emphasized, and students will have the opportunity to work with actual welding robots during the course.
