Catalog description
Studies the application and theory of pneumatic and hydraulic fluid control systems. The basic principles are applied to pumps, valves, regulators, cylinders, hydraulic and air motors, brakes and electrically activated systems. Concepts of fluid friction, fluid forces, pressure gauges and flow measuring devices are also discussed. Co-requisite: PHY 111
