Coding and Reimbursement

Catalog description

Provides an introduction to the coding, billing and reimbursement procedures used in today's allied health field office. The student will learn proper use of the CPT and ICD manuals and the assignment of codes. The health insurance claim form will be discussed as how it relates to reimbursement of services rendered by the health care facility.
