Catalog description

This course will introduce students to various environments and applications of American Sign Language interpreting beginning with the fundamental basis of process, while incorporating real life applications such as interpreting over video phones; in classrooms, K-12 vs. college; and in medical offices. Professional appearance and ethical decision making will also be explored. All ASL and ITP courses must be completed with a grade of "C" or better.
