Catalog description

This course prepares the occupational therapy practitioner to function in the role as an Activities Director as well as emphasizes the varied roles of the occupational therapy assistant as a practitioner and educator. A focus on the application of management principles in the delivery of services, including responsibilities of management, administrative pracitices the development of systematic approach to program development, communications quality assurance and community relations. At the completion of this course the student will receive an Activities Manager Certificate. Co-requisite: OTA 211
