Intro to Recreational Sailing

Catalog description

Learn theory, nomenclature, maneuvering and driving, waterway rules, knots, safety responses, and develop teamwork necessary to safely practice recreational sailing activities. Class will consist of both classroom and water settings. Personal floatation devices will be provided and must be worn near the water at all times. Please remember that water crafts are susceptible to overturning and basic water safe skills are required for course: ability to tread water and float on back.
