Transcription Practicum

Catalog description

This course provides the student with a transition into the practical transcription portion of the certificate. Transcription tips, exercises and preparatory transcription practicum are included. Editing skills will be reinforced by reviewing common proofreading problem areas, including commonly misspelled words, fragments and run-on sentences, punctuation, capitalization, incorrect words and sloppy dictation.
