Incident Safety Officer

Catalog description

Developed by the National Fire Academy to examine the Safety Officer's role at emergency response situation. There is a specific focus on operations within an incident command system with the Safety Officer's role as a main theme. Upon completion of this course, the participant will be able to identify and analyze safety concerns as they relate to all-hazards scene evaluation, and communicate recommended solutions to the common authority. Open to Ohio Fire Academy students only. Co-requisite: NONE
