Catalog description

Expands on the basic ICS program. Developed by the National Wildfire Coordination Group and adopted by Ohio's State I.C.S. Steering Committee. Includes more description and detail of the organization and operation of I.C.S., as well as the management of resources. The duties of all positions including the Air Operation Organization are described and examples are provided of how the essential principles are used in incident and event planning. Open to Ohio Fire Academy students only. National Fire Academy's 12-hour Incident Command System Course qualifies the student to take this course in lieu of the prerequisite. Co-requisite: NONE
