Analyzes the primary characteristics of depository and non-depository financial intermediaries including commercial banks, savings and loans, credit unions, insurance companies, pension funds, mutual funds, etc. Emphasis is focused on the structure and primary activities of such intermediaries,their role in the economic distribution of wealth and the impact of current legislation or their operations and growth.
